( Griff B. Tannen )
the basics
name: Griff Tannen
nicknames: None
age: 19
time period: 2015
appearance
height: Naturally six foot three inches, but can be enhanced
hair: Brown
eyes: Brown
features: According to an offhand comment by Emmett Brown, and further evidenced by the mechanical sounds every time Griff moved, Griff had bionic implants. These implants were shown to give him enhanced strength, make him taller on command, and automatically block a punch thrown at him despite Griff not seeing it coming. A newspaper from 2015 implied these implants were illegal, although proposals were around to legalize them. The circumstances of his acquiring the implants remain unknown. Griff uses these implants to enhance his already impressive physique.
overall description:
As mentioned before, Griff is an imposing figure. Using his size and strength to intimidate others. He is naturally six foot three inches, and weighs in at around two hundred twenty pounds. He keeps his brown hair cut short...sometimes in a crew cut, though it is often covered by a helmet. He has a five inch long scar on his lower left calf...the result of his falling out of a tree when he was younger, and another similar scar on his left chest...which he received when he pissed off the wrong person in a bar (where he was drinking illegally) and this guy happened to have a knife handy. His style of dress can best be called different , but it seems to be the style of 2015. In any case, even if it wasn't Griff wouldn't care.

history
Griff Tannen was born in 1996 in Hill Valley, California and is the grandson of Biff Tannen. The identity or fate of his parents is unknown. At some point he met Marty Jr. and started bullying him.
On the afternoon of October 21, 2015, Griff and his gang met Marty Jr. at the Cafe 80's (formerly Lou's Cafe in 1955 and Lou's Aerobic Center in 1985). They "persuaded" Marty Jr. to join them in the early hours of the following morning to rob the Hill Valley Payroll Substation. Marty Jr. reluctantly agreed, but accidentally set off the alarm. Marty Jr. was caught and sentenced to 15 years, whilst Griff and his gang managed to distance themselves by saying they would not hang out with a "low-res like McFly".
Luckily for Marty Jr., Doc Brown arrived from 1985 in his DeLorean time machine and with the help of Marty from 1985, managed to avoid this. Marty from 1985 (aged 17) managed to pose as his future son and said "no" to Griff. Griff, surprised and angered at this, got his gang to chase Marty around the Courthouse Square after Marty exited the Cafe 80's and "borrowed" a hoverboard. Griff smashed his BMW's taillight after trying to hit Marty with a baseball bat, swinging furiously as he hovered past.
Griff was very similar to his grandfather at a younger age. Like most of the Tannen family throughout its existence, Griff was a bully, and bullied people to get what he wanted. Unlike Biff though, Griff was a lot more violent and unpredictable. Griff was usually accompanied by his gang of three, Rafe "Data" Unger, Leslie "Spike" O'Malley and Chester "Whitey" Nogura, and was the first Tannen to allow a female into his gang. Not many people stood up to Griff, and he was surprised when Marty McFly, pretending to be his son Marty Jr, did so.
Griff had a car (a heavily modified 1976 BMW 633CSi) which he had his grandfather wax for him, and appeared to be an expert hoverboarder, having in his possession a "Pit Bull" hoverboard ("Pitboard") which was jet powered.

Andrew listened to Joseph's story, his fear and anxiety growing with each word. He had heard of the incident that Joseph mentioned of course. It had not been widely publicized, but Andrew still had his ear to the ground so to speak and always tried to keep himself updated on current events, especially when those events concerned the seven.
"Andrew, I'm not trying to persuade you to go back to the things you left behind. I just want to make sure that what you started here isn't the reason you've come back."
At those words, Andrew got up from his seat and started to pace in front of it. Up until now, he had only the smallest notion of why he had returned to this place, but now, now with Joseph's story and final statement, everything just clicked into place for him. He stopped his pacing and stared out the window of the office, slowly gathering his thoughts. After a few minutes, he finally spoke to his oldest and closest friend.
"Up until now Joseph, I really did not have a clear goal in mind for when I returned here, and I still do not have the complete picture, but what I do know is this. The time I spent here at Hogwarts teaching were some of hte happiest of my life," he stopped and allowed himself a grin, "though I am informed that my old job is no longer available, I would still like to fill in whenever the need arises. That being said, I do not think my talents are best used here at the school, at least full time."
He paused here for a moment and gave a small chuckle.
"I have been away these last few years and while I do keep myself informed on the..shall we say...more covert events of our world, I am sadly lacking in other areas. For instance, I have no idea who is who in the ministry. Who is the current minister of magic? The reason I ask is this." Andrew paused again to let his next statement sink in as much he wanted it to,
"The reason I ask is because I want to continue what I feel is my destiny, my duty to the world. I want to fight the seven again, I want to join the aurors or the ministry is some, if not more than one capacity."
He placed his hand on Joseph's shoulder. "If you will accept me old friend, I wish to re join TOE as well. I know this is a lot to ask, but can you help me with all of this?"
Here is another one:
10.
Andrew stood there stunned. So much had happened to him in the past two days or so it was almost too much for one person to take in all at once. He had taken himself out of his self imposed exile, come back to the only place he had really called home, resumed his position at the ministry, took up his leadership spot in the resistance movement, and now....now he was standing here in his own home, and had just been told that his daughter...the fact that she was not his blood daughter did not matter to him in the least, was MARRIED! Somehow, that last bit seemed the most important to him, not to mention the most earth shattering.
He must have stood there for hours trying to get all of this information to sink in while Lindsey handed him his wand and gave him a fierce hug, admonishing him to never leave her again. Deep down in his heart, he knew that he would never do such a stupid thing again. He then had some more time to try and get his emotions in check as she introduced him to her husband, wow, that was going to take some getting used to. He still thought of her as the young, vibrant, full of life young girl that he had first met all those years ago, fell in love with, and then became the father figure that she so desperately needed. He had failed in his role as a father, he could not change that, he could not change the past, but the past was just that, the past, all he could do now was do everything he could to make the future a little bit brighter for them all. Suddenly, he was struck by sudden inspiration, he knew what he could do to at least try and make this better.
He walked over to where Lindsey was embracing her husband...Ethan was his name, and put one hand on each of their shoulders.
"I know that I have not been...the best father lately, and I will regret that for the rest of my life. Though, that is in the past, and as much as I may regret it, there is nothing that can be done about it now. I have two things I want to say now. No, more like one thing to say and a question."
He first turned to Ethan.
"I do not know you that well, which I do hope to change in the very near future, but I do know that my daughter would not marry just anyone, so you must be pretty special. So I do give you my blessing, late as it may be, but know this...if you EVER hurt her in any way, shape, or form, nothing in this world will be able to save you from my wrath. Is that understood.?"
Smiling, he then turned to Lindsey.
"I know that I missed your first wedding, and more to the point, I missed giving you away. I know that I have probably not earned the right to ask this, but....but would you consider having another wedding soon? Perhaps renewing your vows, and this time, I WILL be there to do my duty as your father. This can be as small or large as you want, and of course, I will be paying, something else I did not do the first time."
He waited anxiously. This was something that he really wanted to do for her and he silently prayed that she would be accepting of his offer'
